What an amazing end of the season performance for SDC at the 2024 USA Diving Junior National Championships as we took 2nd overall!
The Maas Family Diving Center, located on the beautiful campus of Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, is home of the nationally recognized Stanford University Diving Team, Junior Olympic Diving Team, Recreational Diving and Masters programs.
The Junior Olympic program provides intensive training for age group and senior divers with the goal of being successful at national and international competitions. The Recreational Diving program emphasizes safety and technique as an introduction to the sport and the Masters program offers the opportunity to those over eighteen years of age to continue or re-institute diving for general physical fitness or competitive sport.

The Junior Olympic team is offered to divers who have a desire and the ability to dive competitively at the national level. The athletes in this program train 5-6 days per week and attend Local, regional, Zone and National competitions. It has a one year financial and competition commitment, but will be billed monthly. The JO Group is by the head coach’s invitation only.
Divers invited into the Developmental program (Level 1-4) are placed based on athletic ability and competitive potential. Divers in these groups participate in local competitions as well as regional, and zone competitions if qualified.
Learn to Dive (LTD) diving camp is for those new to the sport or those divers who have completed the camp and would like to continue diving but are either not interested in or ready for the developmental level groups. Its focus is to allow divers to enjoy the sport of diving while divers continue to work on building the foundational skills needed for higher-level diving.
The total cost is due at the first class of the session. If a diver cannot attend all classes, the program cost is still expected in full. However, a make-up class will be scheduled if a class is canceled.
