2023 AAU Red North Qualifier

Hello SDC!

This Sunday started out chilly wet and gloomy, but soon rebounded into a super fun morning of diving, with nine of our young Stanford Diving Club divers dominating the Future Champions 1m events they entered at the 2023 AAU Red North Qualifier in Novato, CA!   Making friends from other clubs and experiencing the thrills and challenges of competition, in the new College of Marin’s Miwok Aquatic Center’s warm diving pool and hot tub staging area, brought smiles of delight and multiple awards to our SDC divers!

A few highlights from the meet:

• 1st place winners: Seraphine Ash (FC L5 Girls 1m), Lucy Bothe (FC L6 Girls 1m); Rowan Hoffman (FC L7 Girls 1m); Elias Kuusela (FC L5 Boys 1m).
• 2nd place winners: Logan Levesque(FC L5 Boys 1m); Rowan Hoffman (FC L5 Girls 1m); Mikayla Sheerer (FC L7 Girls 1m).
• 3rd place winners: Lucy Bothe(FC L5 Girls 1m).
