Stanford Diving Club is seeking a part-time diving coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in competitive diving and a passion for teaching others. As a diving coach, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring beginner and intermediate level divers, overseeing their training and progress, and providing a safe and fun learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training plans for beginner and intermediate level divers
- Provide instruction and feedback on proper diving technique and form
- Monitor and evaluate divers’ progress and make necessary adjustments to training plans
- Ensure a safe and fun learning environment for all divers
- Attend and participate in diving competitions as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in competitive diving as a coach or athlete
- Knowledge of diving techniques and safety protocols
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
