This last Saturday, 11/8, Coaches Colten, Hayley and Doug brought 24 of our Stanford Diving Club divers to compete in the 1-meter Future Champions (FC) and Junior Olympic (JO) events, at the 2023 Sherman Fall Fun Meet, in Lafayette! It was the first competition for 16 of the SDC competitors. The SDC team placed 2nd out of 7 clubs (84 total entrants).
Making friends from other clubs, learning the meet process and etiquette, and experiencing the thrills and challenges of competition, SDC divers brought home multiple awards!

- 1st GOLD: Vera Smith (FC L2 Girls); Elizabeth Moravick (FC L5 Girls); Thomas Wongsmith (FC L5 Boys); Tyler Kirby (FC L6 Boys); Zachary Terman (FC L7 Boys), Jordan Sun (FC L8 Boys).
- 2nd SILVER: Jocelyn Bunjamin (FC L1 Girls); Alexandria Schmidt (FC L2 Girls); Maxwell Hamill (FC L3 Boys); Jolie Chao (FC L5 Girls); Gabriella Garcia (FC L6 Girls); William Devanney (FC L7 Boys); Liam Ta (FC L8 Boys).
- 3rd BRONZE: Reya Kadam (FC L2 Girls); Adriana Virella (FC L5 Girls); Autumn Chambers (FC L6 Girls);
- Lucy Bothe (FC L8 Girls).
