Coach
Matt Bielobradek
Coach Matt discovered diving at age 14 after a group of swimmers spotted him doing flips on a trampoline at a neighborhood block party and encouraged him to try out for his high school team. That first season sparked a passion for the sport, and he soon joined Windy City Diving Club in Chicago. Through years of dedicated training, Matt qualified for the state finals during both his junior and senior years of high school.
Matt continued his diving career at St. Bonaventure University, competing in the Atlantic 10 Conference. During his collegiate career, he earned Rookie of the Month honors, qualified for the NCAA Zone Championships, and graduated with a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics. His competitive career was cut short when he was forced to medically retire during his senior year due to a torn labrum.
Following college, Matt returned to Windy City Diving as a coach, where he spent two years helping athletes develop their skills and achieve their goals. He also reignited his passion for competition through USA Diving Masters events and the AAU National Championships, placing 4th on 1-meter and 3rd on 3-meter in the Senior Open division in 2025.
After relocating to the Bay Area this spring, Matt is excited to share his experience and enthusiasm for the sport while coaching both Masters and age-group athletes with the Stanford Diving Club.
